Suit up for the only cross river Ohio River swim! Swimmers enter the river at the Serpentine Wall, swim to a buoy off the Kentucky shore and finish at the Public Landing. The course is approximately 900 meters, and lined with safety kayakers to provide assistance as needed. The river is closed during the Swim.

The Great Ohio River Swim is a challenging event that requires appropriate skills and preparation. Swimmers will need to site in open water and negotiate river currents. We advise that participants be able to compete a swim at least 1000 meters in length before registering. The event is limited to 250 participants.
